genannt. Samarandache (geb. 1954) ist gebürtiger Rumäne und ist seit 1997 an der University of New Mexico tätig. Er ist auch Autor von Gedichten, Theaterstücken und ist Anhänger einer so genannten "paradoxism" Avant-Garde Kultur. Samarandache ist auch Anhänger von "paraconsistent mathematics", die auf einer "parakonsistenten Logik" beruht. Auf ihn gehen auch die "Smarandache–Wellin Zahlen" zurück. Samarandache ist auch Kritiker der Relativitätstheorie.
