Bernard Blanc wurde nach der Veröffentlichung beklagt und in der Schweiz verurteilt, seine fehlerhaften Behauptungen nicht mehr zu verbreiten. Der europäische Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte hob das Urteil jedoch wieder auf, ohne jedoch die Behauptungen zu bewerten.<ref>
