Rossignol a été poursuivi en justice par James Coman devant la Cook County Circuit Court. Coman alléguait que Rossignol, avec une autre médecin de famille, [[Anjum Usman]] de Naperville , avait administré des «traitements expérimentaux dangereux et inutiles", y compris la [[thérapie par chélation]], au fils de Coman, qui avait 7 ans à l'époque.
