Jim Humble ist ein US-amerikanischer Ingenieur, Autor für Computerhandbücher (aus der Vor-Transistorzeit) und Bergwerktechnik sowie Erfinder von Nahrungsergänzungsmitteln mit Desinfektionsmitteln. Seit einigen Jahren versucht sich der medizinische Laie mit dem Verkauf von Nahrungsergänzungsmitteln. Der selbsternannte "Bischof" Humble ist auch eine Art Religionsstifter einer eigenen Kirche "Genesis II Church of Health and Healing".
Seine Miracle Mineral Supplement (MMS) genannte Erfindung sei der effektivste Krankheitskiller, den es gäbe, meint Humble. Für AIDS, Hepatitis A, B und C, Malaria, Herpes, Tuberkulose, die meisten Krebsformen und viele weitere, ernste Erkrankungen wäre es die ideale Behandlungsform.
Inzwischen bietet Humble auch MMS2 an, ein Calciumhydrochlorit-haltiges Produkt. Im deutschen Versandhandel ist es als "Chemikalie zur Schwimmbaddesinfektion" im Handel. Folgt man der Werbung für MMS2, solle es innerlich eingenommen werden um Keime, Viren und Parasiten abzutöten. MMS2 ist wie MMS kein zugelassenes Arzneimittel.
Anekdoten
Jim Humble lässt verbreiten, er hätte 2.000 Malariaopfer dadurch geheilt, dass diese eine von ihm erfundene Mischung namens MMS angewandt hätten. Neben eher banalen Garagentüröffnern soll er auch an geheimnisumwitterten magnetohydrodynamischen Antrieben gearbeitet haben.

Seit 2010 lässt sich Jim Humble als "Bishop Jim Humble" titulieren. Schwerpunkt der Aktivitäten der 2010 gegründeten neurelgiösen Sekte sei weniger Religion, vielmehr "Gesundheit und Heilung". Humble:
