Die österreichische Politologin [[Claudia von Werlhof]], die im Januar 2010 behauptete, dass das Erdbeben von Haiti durch Menschen ausgelöst sei, beruft sich auch auf Rosalie Bertell, indem sie öffentlich aus ihrer Korrespondenz mit Bertell zitiert ("Es stimmt, dass mehrere Länder heute die Technologie haben, um Erdbeben zu verursachen.
