Après être intervenu le 23 avril 2014 lors d'une conférence organisée par la sénatrice Nele Lijnen dans les locaux du Sénat belge (où les autres intervenants ont été [[Richard Horowitz]], Valérie Obsomer et la mère d’une personne atteinte par la maladie) <ref>http://www.reseauborreliose.fr/day/2014/04/21/Conf%C3%A9rence%3A-la-maladie-de-Lyme-%C3%A0-Bruxelles</ref>, puis avoir soutenu le 22 mars 2018 l'Association québécoise de la maladie de Lyme (AQML) en intervenant lors de la commission de l'Assemblée nationale du Québec, Christian Perronne apporte également son soutien à la [[Lyme Disease Association of Australia]]. Il figure dans leur Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC), c'est à dire leur Comité consultatif scientifique.
