An '''orgone radiator''' is an [[Esotericism|esoteric]] device, that analogous to an [[orgone accumulator]] should absorb the hypothetical [[orgone]] energy proposed by the psychiatrist [[Wilhelm Reich]] from the environment and allows to return it, as it s claimed for example in advertisements, "purified and refined" in a concentrated beam. In the opinion of supporters of the orgone hypothesis, orgone radiators should be useful against many physical and emotional problems. The classic design of the non-functional item is a one-sided sharpened rod. Typically it will be a polished or plated metal bar but there are also versions made of wood.

The radiator can be connected with a single-pole cable to a so called container cup, which is a block or a thick metal plate with holes for vials or other objects. The vials can contain for example homeopathic preparations, the alleged positive attributes would be sent out as "energetic information" through the radiator. Photos or written messages can also be put into such a cup. Sold are also "transmitter"-vials, which are claimed to contain "subtle informations". There are transmitters for a variety of diseases and the increase of well-being, as well as special transmitters for children (e.g. hyperactivity transmitter, learning materials transmitter), transmitters for animals, and so on.

So that this all works meticulous instructions are given in manuals and esoteric literature. Thus, a thorough cleaning of the radiator with concentrated alcohol(not detergent should be used) is required, the cable between radiator and cup must not form loops, the room has to be well ventilated etc.

According to the proponents orgone radiators can not only be used to radiate "positive energy" on people, animals and objects but also to draw "negative energy" from them. They just had to be placed behind the radiator and not before it. The supposed power of orgone radiation is often described in advertisements with the fantasy [[Bovis unit]].
