Robert O. Becker (geb. 31. Mai 1923, gest. 14. Mai 2008) war ein US-amerikanischer Orthopäde, Buchautor und Erfinder. Er war als Professor am Upstate Medical Center der "State University of New York" in Syracuse (New York) und war am Veterans Administration Hospital in Syracuse tätig.

Beckers Interesse galt der Anwendung elektrischer Ströme zu therapeutischen Zwecken bei Knochenbrüchen und zu Regenerationsphänomen bei Fröschen und Salamandern. Seine Ansichten werden häufig im alternativmedizinischen Umfeld, Anhängern von kolloidalem Silber und von Mobilfunkgegnern zitiert.

Becker vertrat die Ansicht man könne auch bei Säugetieren und beim Menschen amputierte Gliedmaßen nachwachsen lassen. Bei Versuchen mit Ratten will er dies ansatzweise gezeigt haben.[1]

Beckers meist zitiertes Werk ist The Body Electric. Electromagnetism and the Foundation of Life von 1985.
