Novocarcin

Novocarcin (Novo-Carcin, Ca-15, Neocarcin) ist ein obsoletes alternativmedizinisches Mittel gegen Krebs, das von der Pharmafirma Pharma-Biologica S.A. aus Lugano (Schweiz) hergestellt wurde. Als ein Anwender galt Josef Issels (Ringberg-Klinik am Tegernsee).

Die genaue Zusammensetzung der Inhaltsstoffe wurde nicht bekannt. Als Inhaltsstoffe wurden "organische" und "inorganische" Substanzen genannt, Polypeptide, Pflanzeninhaltsstoffe, aber auch Substanzen, die aus Drüsengewebe stammen sollen. In einem Prospekt der Pharma-Biologica SA aus dem Jahre 1950 war auch von Thorium und Mesothorium die Rede:

..The preparation is a conglomeration of active anti-cancerous substances. It contains some glandular extracts, some organic and inorganic substances, some extracts from plants, some corrective substances, some polypeptides in the same way as mesothorium and thorium X in oligodynamic dosage..

Beworben wurde es unter anderem mit folgenden Worten:

..Neo-Carcin is used as an active and specific adjuvant for the treatment of malignant tumors (carcinoma, sarcoma, lymphogranuloma) in all stages of the disease and equally for the humoral deterioration of the "cancerous dyscrasie"..
