Als 2004 die ersten Konflikte zwischen den etablierten Yoga Dachorganisationen und MISA bzw. deren Tarnorganisationen auftauchten, wurde von MISA die "ATMAN" Federation ins Leben gegründet. Aktuell sind keine Mitglieder der ATMAN-Federation bekannt, die nicht in irgend einer Form mit MISA verbandelt sind. Daher kann bei YOGA-Schulen, die sich als Mitglied von ATMAN bezeichnen, davon ausgegangen werden dass sie zu MISA gehören.
Im Internet tauchten kommerzielle Porno-Videos (z.B. "To pee or not to pee") eines eigentlich geheimen "Test" der MISA auf. Der "spirituelle Test" soll sich auf "Urin-Orgasmen" bezogen haben, die von MISA-Aspiranten bei einem jährlichen MISA-Wettbewerb zur "Miss Shakti" praktiziert worden seien. Den Aspiranten war vorab nichts von einem Verkauf oder der Verbreitung der "Test"-Aufnahmen gesagt worden. 2009 hat die dänische Presse Verstrickungen der dänischen MISA-Filiale in Pornographie und Prostitution öffentlich gemacht.
